Theatre Morin-Heights’ Upcoming Production at Chalet Bellevue

Theatre Morin-Heights presents « THE MUSICAL COMEDY MURDERS OF 1940 » by John Bishop, directed by Steve Gillam.

Note: Despite the name THIS IS NOT A MUSICAL! Instead, it’s a loving spoof of 1940s detective thrillers and screwball comedies. Of course, it starts with a typical “who-dunit” murder in a mansion. But things quickly turn into a whirlwind of mistaken identities, secret passages, over-the-top characters, and perfectly timed chaos all delivered by a great TMH ensemble cast. Above all, the play is committed to fun for the audience.

Theatre Morin-Heights is presenting six performances from November 4 to 8; four in the evening (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) and two in the afternoon (Saturday and Sunday).

Tickets: $25 per ticket. Click here to buy yours.

Information: 450 226-3232, extension 132 or chaletbellevue@morinheights.com

Consultation Workshop : Natural Areas Conservation Plan

HELP SHAPE THE FUTURE OF OUR NATURAL AREAS! 🌿

Since January 2026, the Municipality of Morin-Heights has been working on a Natural Areas Conservation Plan, an initiative aimed at deepening our understanding of the territory and identifying priority actions to help protect our natural areas over the next ten years.

As part of this process, we invite you to participate in a public consultation workshop to learn about the key findings of the natural areas inventory conducted in Morin-Heights, find out more about the project and, most importantly, contribute to the discussion on priorities for the future.

Consultation Workshop – Natural Areas Conservation Plan
📅 Tuesday, November 10, 2026
🕕 18:00 to 20:30
📍 Chalet Bellevue, 27 Bellevue Street

What to expect:
• Presentation of the project and planning process
• Overview of Morin-Heights’ natural areas
• Discussion and exchange of ideas
• Collaborative reflection on priority actions to be implemented

Your knowledge of the area, observations and ideas are valuable. Whether you are a nature enthusiast, a trail user or simply someone who cares about preserving the quality of life that makes Morin-Heights unique, your perspective will help enrich the discussion.

Help shape a shared vision for the future of our natural areas.

🍪 A light snack will be served to fuel the conversation... and keep those brains working!

Concert by Les Grillons

Les Grillons is the beautiful sound of music in the evening, when the weather is warm. The joyful resonance of rare species. At the heart of this collaboration are music journalist Sylvain Cormier (vocals and guitar) and documentary filmmaker Guylaine Maroist (vocals and guitar), brought together by a desire to create alongside their respective career. Over time, seasoned musicians were drawn to the hive: Réal Desrosiers (drummer for Beau Dommage), Mario Légaré (bassist and double bassist who has notably accompanied Michel Rivard and Octobre), Steve Normandin (master accordionist), and Caroline Dorion (formidable multi-instrumentalist) joined the group. Together, they bring to life a warm repertoire, driven by friendship, experience, and the obvious joy of making music.

In other words, there’s a buzzing energy in the tall grass of our local Americana scene, featuring country-rock and other flavours. Guitars, keyboards, percussion, accordion, a legendary bass-drum section, and rich vocal harmonies make up the sound of Les Grillons. With a mix of original songs and covers chosen with gusto and good taste, the band is the kind that draws in anyone flitting by. Authentic, generous, and unifying, Les Grillons’ music inspires small crowds of fireflies to light up the stages of a life we all wish for—literally, one that’s buzzing with life.

Come discover them on November 28 at 19:30 at the Chalet Bellevue!
