The Sûreté du Québec, national police, operates throughout the entire province, to maintain peace and public order, preservation of life, security, protection of property and human rights. The SQ also supports its own community, coordinates major police operations, contributes to the integrity of state institutions and ensures the safety on Québec transportation networks.

The headquarters of the SQ in the Pays-d’en-Haut MRC serves the town of Morin-Heights, St-Sauveur, Estérel, Ste-Marguerite-du-Lac-Masson, Piedmont, Ste-Anne-des-Lacs, St-Adolphe-d’Howard, Wentworth-Nord and Lac-des-Seize-Iles, as well as Ste-Adèle from May 18, 2012.
