MADA (Municipalité amie des aînés) or Senior Friendly municipality

Following a 20 month consultation period, the Municipality, in collaboration with the MRC des Pays-d’en-Haut, has established the preliminary steps to develop an action plan. Citizens were invited in November 2014 to validate the work of the committees during a public consultation. Municipalité amie des aînés’ goal is to help municipalities encourage senior participation within their community and to strive for a society which includes all ages.

During this meeting presided by the Mayor, the drafted Municipality’s action plan for 2015-2016-2017 along with the MRC des Pays-d’en-Haut’s were unveiled. You can read the draft, attached below as a pdf file.
