On Sunday December 19, Santa Claus hopped a ride to the Morin-Heights Legion with firefighters from the Morin-Heights Fire Department, who escorted Santa to his place of honour at the Legion’s annual Christmas celebration for children.

With help from Legion members and five clowns from the Karnak Clown Unit, Santa handed out toys to each of the children and took a moment to listen to each child’s wishes.

Prior to Santa’s arrival, the children were entertained by a slap-stick comedy show put on by the clowns, who made animal-balloons, played with the children and demonstrated how to make a clown. The making of a clown had children cheering and laughing as they gleefully watched as one of the Legion’s veterans was transformed into a red-nosed clown.
