Iconography of the Bathing Woman

Les Z’animés, presented by the Morin-Heights library (in French).

Available on the municipal YouTube channel from January 17 to 31.

The widespread iconography of the woman in the bath explores themes such as fables, myths and religion, then practically becomes a genre in its own right in the 20th century. Discover the history of feminine hygiene and aesthetics from Antiquity to the present day. Presented in French by Sylvie Coutu.
