Online Presentation : The Exuberant Pieter Paul Rubens

The Exuberant Pieter Paul Rubens (1577–1640)

Les Z’animés, presented by the Morin-Heights library (in French). Available on the municipal YouTube channel from February 16 (at 10:30) until March 1.

Sylvie Coutu introduces you to Rubens who is undoubtedly the most important Flemish painter of the 17th century. His style embodies the most characteristic aspects of the Northern Baroque. He lent his talent to celebrating the European princes of the 17th century. An in-depth study of each of his paintings within the gallery is planned, enabling us to explore the history of this outstanding artist of French history.
