Morin-Heights Spring Break Activities

Since our outdoor activities are not permitted this year, we have prepared an online program of activities to keep you entertained in the comfort of your home! Here is a suggested menu of family activities:

- Monday, March 1 - "La science qui danse" at 10:00 (5-8 y.o.)

To all Débrouillards! Get your supplies ready (click here to see the list) and come make discoveries through manipulation and scientific experimentation! 20 places available, first come, first served. To participate in the Google Meet meeting, just click on the following link: https://meet.google.com/ndw-yakz-bek. Please login a few minutes in advance, to make sure that your connection link works and that everything is in place for the activity. You can contact animations@technoscience-rm.ca if you encounter any problems. We invite you to read the Guide du participant beforehand.

- Tuesday, March 2 - Clowning Workshop available by 9:30 (4-99 y.o.)

Martin Silversmith invites you in his hilarious universe. Together, you will explore clownish gaits, manipulating ordinary objects for comic purposes, mime, grimaces, and clownish situations. Basically, how do you make people laugh?! To conclude the presentation, he will talk about his involvement in developing countries with Clowns Without Borders. Presentation available from March 2 to March 8 on the Municipal YouTube page.

- Friday, March 5 (0-99 y.o.)

We invite you to discover www.mabiblioamoi.ca. The site abounds in various digital resources. You can have access to "l’ Heure du conte ", a prerecorded bank of tales that you can watch at your convenience with your toddlers. Also available are more than 1,000 online courses (mainly in French) on a variety of subjects: arts and recreation, health and wellness, computer programs, languages, multimedia, music, programming, sports and fitness, and professional life, all free of charge with your (free!) subscription to the library. Why not a DJ class for your teenager or an introduction to piano for the youngest?

Finally, to stretch out after all these online activities, take advantage of all our outdoor facilities, in your family bubble. Enjoy our trails on cross-country skis, snowshoes or crampons, or on a fatbike. Visit our Outdoor Network webpage to find out how much it costs to rent equipment; we even have a sled to take your baby on the trails (by reservation, 450 226-3232, ext. 130)! Also, take advantage of our skating rinks and slide at Basler Park, which are reserved for our residents this winter.

Above all, enjoy moments of relaxation and fun with your family all week long!
