Information on coronavirus

Infection prevention: a collective responsibility.

The vaccination campaign against COVID-19 can now begin in the general population, depending on the age groups. Thus, in the Laurentians, people 60 years of age and older (born in or before 1961) are invited, to make an appointment to be vaccinated. Also, individuals aged 45 and over can receive the AstraZeneca vaccine without an appointment in dedicated clinics. The location and schedule of these clinics is available on the CISSS des Laurentides website. People that are interested can also make an appointment online via the ClicSante website.

Please note that, with or without an appointment, the AstraZeneca vaccine is available at all the vaccination centres in the Laurentians, but at dedicated time slots. Also, we wish to remind you that the AstraZeneca vaccine is available only to those aged 45 and over. You must therefore be 45 years old at the time you get
the vaccine (age will take precedence over year of birth).

Consulting the page is the easiest and quickest way to make an appointment and to follow the campaign’s progress by region. For those who do not have access to the Internet or who have difficulty using it, it is possible to call 1 877 644-4545 for support. If possible, family members are encouraged to offer support to seniors in making appointments online.

The official website of the Government of Quebec offers detailed information on the coronavirus. You will find an update on the situation in Quebec, a description of the symptoms, modes of transmission, prevention tips, recommendations for travelers and more.
