Dozens of children had the opportunity to learn to lace-up their ski boots and discover how fun it can be to cross-country ski, during a free ski day on March 6, which was hosted by the Municipality of Morin-Heights and the Club Optimiste de la Vallée de Saint-Sauveur.

Children were provided with the use of free sporting equipment and they gathered at Mont-Bellevue, where instructors Rick and Olivia Nesbitt spent the day playing with the children in the snow and imparting them with the tools necessary to climb, descend and glide along the snowy mountains and valleys of Morin-Heights.
